NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award

The NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award ( DPoY ) will be awarded to the best defender of the basketball league NBA since 1983. The jury consists of about 120 journalists ( the same ones who also select the Most Valuable Player ), each having a first, second and third voice.
