Nesebar Municipality

The municipality Nessebar ( Bulgarian Община Несебър ) is a Bulgarian town in the east of the country and belonging to the province Bourgas. Community center is the harbor town of Nessebar.

Location

The municipality is bordered to the north by the municipality in the province of Byala Varna, on the west by the municipality of Pomorie and in the south and east by the Black Sea. The Cape Emine forming the easternmost point of the community and the country as well as the northernmost point of the Bay of Bourgas.

Policy

Local government

The city council consists of the mayor of Nessebar and the form prescribed by the municipal code number of 21 city council members. Every four years, the city council is elected, the next choice is in 2015, the distribution of seats in the city council turns since the last local elections on 23 September 2011, with a turnout of 72.78 %, as follows: FIG.

Community structure

The City Council also acts as a municipal council and is responsible for the control of all mayor of localities responsible. The municipality of Nessebar ( Bulg Община Несебър / Obtschina Nessebar ) also includes the towns of Nessebar, Sveti Vlas and Obzor and the villages Banja, Gjuljowza, Emona, Kosniza, Kosharitsa, Orisare, Panizowo, Priselzi, Rawda, Rakowskowo, Tankowo. The Tourismusosrt sun beach is also located in the community. It is the largest tourist destination in the country and is managed as a national health resort of the Bulgarian government, the municipality of Nessebar and representatives of the hotel owner.

Traffic

The nearest airports are Burgas ( 25 km) and Varna (100 km ), with an arrival date from the latter via a two-lane mountain pass through the Balkan Mountains and can take up to three hours. The route Burgas - Pomorie Nessebar - Varna - Sunny beach is via the National Road 1st order I / 9, which is part of the European route is 87. While the route Burgas - sun beach mostly two lanes (as of June 2012) is the distance Nessebar - Varna mostly single track. The community places are not connected to the Bulgarian rail network. The nearest railway station is located in Burgas ( → Transport in Burgas ), opposite the bus station South ( Awtogara jug ).
