Nicolas Höfler (born 9 March 1990 in Lingen ) is a German footballer who plays in the service of SC Freiburg.

Career

Hofler began playing football at the stove Wanger SV. About the Youth Division of the SC Pfullendorf, where he played from 2001 to 2005, he finally came to SC Freiburg. With the U-19 team of the SCF Höfler won the A- junior championship in 2008 and the DFB Junior Club Cup 2009. His debut for the second representation of SC Freiburg, which is represented in the Regionalliga Süd, he gave on 20 December 2008 at the home game against Viktoria Aschaffenburg.

At the beginning of the 2010/11 season promoted head coach Robin Dutt Höfler in the professional squad of SC Freiburg. On his first appearance in the Bundesliga Höfler still had to wait. So in 2011 he moved on loan to FC Erzgebirge Aue. Here Höfler came on Matchday against Eintracht Braunschweig for Guido Kocer in 66 minutes and so got its first use in a professional team. After another year in Aue Höfler returned to the 2013/14 season for SC Freiburg back. On August 27, 2013, the early 4th Round, Höfler scored in his second season and Bundesliga match the deficit to 1-1 draw in the 86th minute in the home game against Bayern Munich also his first Bundesliga goal.
