Nikica Jelavic ( born August 27, 1985 in Čapljina, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian football player. Since January 2014 he is the English first division side Hull City under contract.

Association
Jelavic began his career in the youth team of GOŠK Gabela before joining in 2002 as a 17 -year-old for an estimated transfer fee of 130,000 euros for the U-19 team Hajduk Split. In 2004 he made his breakthrough in the first team and scored in 31 league inserts 15 goals.
