Nobuhiko Hasegawa

Nobuhiko Hasegawa (Japanese长谷川 信 彦, Nobuhiko Hasegawa, born March 5, 1947 in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, † November 7, 2005 in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, Japan ) was one in the 1960s and 1970s, to the best table tennis players in the world.

Nobuhiko Hasegawa was founded in 1967 in Stockholm three -time world champion ( men's singles, men's team and mixed doubles ) and in Munich in 1969 once again world champion with the team when he along with Shigeo Itoh and Mitsuru Kohno against the German team with Eberhard Scholer, Bernt Jansen and Wilfried Lieck won with 5:3. However, he lost as still reigning individual World Champion against Bernt Jansen and took his team to the brink of defeat. Hasegawa fell equally on through his uncompromising attacking play as its unorthodox attitude racket ( shakehand grip, index finger right on the backhand side ).
