Nuno Diogo

Nuno Miguel Pereira Diogo ( born June 13, 1981 in Lisbon ), known as Nuno Diogo, is a Portuguese footballer.

Career

The career of Nuno Diogo began in 2001 in the second team of Sporting Lisbon, which was at that time, represented in the Segunda Divisão Portuguesa, the third- highest division of Portugal. In 2002, he joined a league higher to Leca FC in the Liga de Honra, rose with the club but from the end of the season. Nuno Diogo joined the SC Salgueiros, who starred for the promotion to the Super League, but missed this.

In 2004 Nuno Diogo transferred to FC Penafiel, who had just been promoted to the Super League. There he was first employed only irregularly and made only after relegation in 2006 the leap to starting players. After the direct re-emergence was clearly missed in the 2006/07 season, he returned by a change to the newly promoted Leixões SC back to the top flight. There he accomplished at the end of the 2007/08 season in the league, but could not prevail permanently located.

In 2008 Nuno Diogo left his homeland and went to the Romanian Liga 1 newly promoted CS Otopeni. There he became a regular player, could not prevent from relegation in 2009. He then joined the league rivals FC Braşov, with which he could be placed in the 2009/10 season in the middle of the league.

Since summer 2010, Nuno Diogo plays the reigning Romanian champions CFR Cluj, where it turned out the entire first half of the 2010/11 season. After his return in March 2011, he became the master power. With the championship a year later in 2012 he won his first title.
