Ognjen Vukojević

Ognjen Vukojević [ ɔɡɲɛn ʋukɔjɛʋiʨ ] ( born December 20, 1983 in Bjelovar ) is a Croatian football player. Since 2008 he is at Dynamo Kiev under contract.

Career

Association

The career of defensive midfielder started at Mladost Ždralovi and NK Bjelovar, before embarking on his professional career in 2003 at NK Slaven Belupo. In 2005 he moved to Belgium Lierse SK. Since he rarely came installed there, he moved back half a year later in the Croatian League to Dinamo Zagreb. He quickly earned the nickname " Dinamo Gattuso " due to his playing style. In his second full season 2007/ 08 he was one with his eleven goals in 29 games for the most goals in his club. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to the Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, where he signed a five-year contract and immediately became a regular player.

End of February 2013 lent Spartak Moscow Vukojević from remainder of the season. The club also has a purchase option.

National

Vukojević played his first game with the Croatian national football team during a friendly match on 16 October 2007 against Slovakia.
