Olga Rozanova

Olga Vladimirovna Rosanowa (Russian Ольга Владимировна Розанова ) (*. Junijul 21 / July 3 1886greg in Melenki, Vladimir Oblast, Russia, . † November 8, 1918 in Moscow) was a Russian painter, poet and art theorist, whose work in distinguished style of Suprematism, Neo-Primitivism and Cubo-Futurism.

Life

From 1905 visited Rosanowa together with Nadezhda Udal'tsova in Moscow led by the artists Konstantin Yuon and Ivan Dudin school.

At the same time she graduated between 1904 and 1912, a study of applied arts at the Bolshakov School and at the Stroganov School of Applied Art in Moscow. In 1910 she moved from Moscow to Petersburg to Petrograd at the time, where she was a founding member of the Artists' Association "Union of Youth " (Russian Союз Молодежи ).

Between 1912 and 1913 he studied at the Art School Swanzewa in St. Petersburg. During this time she became friends with Velimir Khlebnikov and Kasimir Malevich.
