Omaha Knights (AHA)

The Omaha Knights were a professional ice hockey club based in Omaha, Nebraska. The minor-league team from 1939 to 1942 the American Hockey Association ( AHA) and returned after an interruption during World War II in 1945 on the ice, where they played until 1951 in the United States Hockey League. The most famous player was Gordie Howe, who played in the 1945/46 season with the Knights.

Under the same name another team in Omaha was founded in 1959. More likelihood of confusion with the Omaha Ak -Sar - Ben Knights.
