Open Seguros Bolívar

The ATP Challenger Bogota (official name " Seguros Bolivar Open Bogotá " ) is taking place every since 2005 tennis tournament in Bogotá, Colombia. It is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is played on outdoor clay courts. Record winner in the individual is the Brazilian Marcos Daniel, in double the Argentine Brian Dabul was most frequently victorious; both won the tournament twice each.

For a small scandal occurred in 2011 in the doubles final: After a rally in the state of [ 6:2 ] in the match tie-break threw Juan Sebastian Cabal his bat angrily towards the net. However, this inadvertently hit only the network edge and then misconduct Izak van der Merwe on the head and shoulder. Due to the ATP regulations Cabal and Robert Farah partners were disqualified then.
