ÅŒsaki, Miyagi
Ōsaki (Japanese大 崎 市, -shi ) is a city in Miyagi Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.
Geography
Ōsaki located south of Kurihara and north of Sendai.
History
The city was on 1 April 2005 from the merger of the city Furukawa (古 川 市, -shi ), and municipal Tajiri (田 尻 町, machi ) of the district Toda, Sanbongi (三 本 木 町, machi ), Matsuyama (松山 町, -machi ), Kashimadai (鹿岛 台 町, machi ) of the district Shida, Iwadayama (岩 出山 町, machi ) and Naruko (鸣 子 町, machi ) of the district Tamatsukuri founded. The county Shida and Tamatsukuri was thereupon be dissolved.
