Oscar Möller

Oscar Möller ( born January 22, 1989 in Spånga ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since May 2011 in Skellefteå AIK in the Elitserien under contract.

Career

Oscar Moller began his career as a hockey player in his native Sweden, where he was active in the youth field hockey and Spånga Djurgårdens IF. In the summer of 2006, the attackers moved to the Chilliwack Bruins, for whom he played for two years in the Western Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2007 in the second round than a total of 52 players from the Los Angeles Kings. After the Swede stood for the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League began two playoff games of the 2007/08 season on the ice, Moeller graduated in his first season in the National Hockey League in the 2008/ 09 season, a total of 40 games for the Los Angeles, in which he scored 15 points scorer. In the following two seasons, he stood for both the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL and for the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL on the ice and went up to the 2010/11 season as assistant captain of the team of Monarchs on. In May 2011, he opted for a return to Sweden and signed a contract for two years with Skellefteå AIK.

Internationally

For Sweden Möller took part in the U18 Junior World Cup 2007, as well as the U20 World Junior Championships in 2008 and 2009 in part.
