Initiator of this idea was, among others, the writer Max Frisch. This designed according to the then latest architectural and sociological insights city would be on the one hand been compact, but would also include generous green spaces and good transport links. However, the satellite city was never built, because the resistance was too great. The model of this satellite town is now owned by the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil.
