Niederhaslistrasse is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf the canton of Zurich in Switzerland.

The coat of arms of the municipality Niederhaslistrasse refers to men of Mandach, which owns much of today's political community were in the Middle Ages.

Geography

Niederhaslistrasse located in the Glatt valley at the entrance to Wehntal between Dielsdorf and Zürich. This area is part of Zurich Low Lands. The municipality also includes the villages of Oberhasli ZH, Mettmenhasli and Nassenwil, the hamlet Kastelhof, the homestead Steinacker and several individual farms.

History

Niederhaslistrasse 931 was first mentioned as Haslia documented and arrived in 1442 in the possession of the city of Zurich. 1530-1534 was the reformer Ulrich Bolt pastor in Niederhaslistrasse. With Paul Böhringer worked from 1875 to 1879 another well-known theologian in this parish.

Economy and infrastructure

Niederhaslistrasse is a commuter town in the first place. A large part of the population works in Zurich. In the municipality there are two storage tanks, a container terminal, a grain mill, a plastic factory and a few other small and medium sized businesses.

Traffic

Niederhaslistrasse is located on the Wehntal (upper Glatt Niederweningen ), the lines of the S5 ( Pfäffikon SZ- Zurich HB- Niederweningen ) and S55 (upper Glatt Niederweningen ) of the S -Bahn Zurich is busy. The trains run every hour of the S5, the S55 provides to 21:00 clock one second compound per hours ago.

Oberhasli is opened on weekdays and Saturdays until 20:00 clock to 17:00 clock every hour of the CRVO bus route 797 ( Zürich -Oberhasli ) from Zürich train station. The bus is operated by the transport companies Glattal (VBG ) and served in the Oberhasli five stops Hasliberg, playground, Moosacker, post office and village.

In Niederhaslistrasse the two stops and Adlibogen village served by the postal bus operated by CRVO bus route 525 ( Dielsdorf- Bülach ) whose schedule is, however, tailored to the schools in Bülach. At rush hour, the bus stop Adlibogen addition of an offshoot of the bus line 510 ( Sünikon upper Glatt) served with a connection to the S-train to Zurich in Upper Glatt.

The villages Nassenwil and Mettmenhasli are not accessible by public transport.

Others

Between Niederhaslistrasse and Mettmenhasli is the Mettmenhaslisee, also known colloquially Näppi. The lake is fed by a Grundwasseraufstoss and drained by the Haslibach. On the north shore of the lake is a nature reserve on the south shore during a bathhouse spreads.
