Henrik Otto Fredrikson ( born November 30, 1981 in Valkeakoski ) is a Finnish football players. The goalkeeper, who made his debut in the Finnish national team in 2008, stood in his career in Finland, Germany, Norway and Russia under contract.

Career

Fredrikson lived in the late 1980s with his family in Burg Steinfurt, where he was active in the youth team of the Black - Yellow Burg Steinfurt. After returning to Finland 1990, he began playing football at FC Haka. From there he moved in 1995 in the youth department of Oulu Luistinseura. Here he played in the junior national teams of Suomen Palloliitto. In 1999 he moved to Tervarit Oulu, where he mainly played as a young player the next two years.

With the Finnish U -20 team Fredrikson took part on the side of players like Mikael Forssell, Antti Okkonen and Daniel Sjölund at the Junior World Cup in 2001. He fell to the Scouts of the German club Borussia Mönchengladbach, who committed him to the re-emergence in the Bundesliga as third goalkeeper behind Jörg Stiel and Michael Melka.
