Özgür Bayer

Özgür Bayer ( born April 4, 1979 in Balıkesir, Turkey) is a Turkish footballer who also has a German passport. He plays preferably as a central defender, but can also be used as a right back and right midfield.

Club career

Özgür Bayer began his career at unterklassigen Turkish club soma Sotesspor, before joining Soma Linyitspor, where he made ​​his professional debut in the Lig B in the game against Turgutluspor also on May 24, 1997, when he brought on in the 66th minute for Bahadir Tamsan been. National team career

Özgür Bayer was first nominated in 2004 for the Turkish National Team A-2. The first international match he played in a friendly against Japanese B national football team on 26 May 2004, when he came on in injury time for Mehmet Yozgatlı. Then he played two games in the Future Cup 2005 against the Polish national football team and Austrian B- B national football team.
