Parelloop

The Parelloop ( German: Pearl Country) is a running event in the Dutch municipality of Brunssum, held annually since 1989. The route of the main fraction is 10 kilometers long. In the Framework Programme, a half marathon and a 5- kilometer run and various competitions for children are offered.

In 2009, Micah Kogo Kipkemboi the Parelloop with his winning time of 27:01 minutes, a world record in the 10-kilometer road race on. In 2001 Sammy Kipketer reached in Brunssum with 27:18 minutes, a world record.

The Parelloop is part of the Rur Eifel Volkslauf cups, a Laufcup classification of open races in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
