Paris Métro Line 3

The Paris Métro Line 3 connects the stations Pont de Levallois - Bécon in the northwest and Gallieni in the east of Paris.

History

During the construction of Line 3 were the same problems as in the previous lines: Watercourses and poor ground conditions bedeviled the engineers. The line 3 shares in the newly built intermediate station Porte de Bagnolet in two tunnels: the elderly leads to the vault Saint- Fargeau, the other, new to the new terminus Gallieni. The old arrival platform was converted into a tunnel with 3 tracks
