Paris Métro Line 3bis

The line 3 bis of the Paris Métro is the shortest line of the Paris Metro network. It was opened in 1921 and is only 1.3 km long. By 1971, the route was part of Line 3 of the Paris Métro. The track has track connections with the line 7 bis of the Voie navette between Pré Saint- Gervais and Porte des Lilas ( this connection is partially used for a maintenance workshop on a track in the station Pré Saint- Gervais, on there for the vehicles the line was 7to set up) and the Voie des Fêtes between stations Place des Fêtes and Porte des Lilas.

The travel time on the line is only four minutes. Like the other lines of the Metro line has their first ride receive after 5:30 clock ( 5:27 from Porte des Lilas and 5:32 clock from Gambetta ); the last ride at 1:04 from Porte des Lilas and at 1:11 clock from Gambetta, on weekend nights and before holidays at 2:05 and at 2:11 clock. The clock frequency is 3 to 5 minutes during the day and 8 to 9 minutes in the evening. Sunday morning she runs every 6-8 minutes and every 10 minutes at night after 0:30 or after 1:15 clock clock at night with night traffic.

Planning

For some time, there are plans to merge the line with the line 3to 7 bis. These plans were published in September 2008 in Schéma directeur de la région Ile- de -France. You will see the use of the track connections with the line 7 bis of the Voie navette between Pré Saint- Gervais and Porte des Lilas and the Voie des Fêtes between stations Place des Fêtes and Porte des Lilas ago. The line would then be expected to be extended about Louis Blanc addition to Château -Landon, and so would also connect the Gare de l' Est. In addition, the ghost station Haxo could then be opened in the direction of travel Gambetta.
