Park Geun-hye

Park Geun - hye ( born February 2, 1952 in Daegu ) is Since February 25, 2013, the current president of South Korea. She is the former chairman of the Conservative Party Saenuri.

Life

Park is the daughter of the general and long-time president Park Chung -hee, who ruled as a dictator the country after a military coup in 1961.

Her mother was shot in an assassination attempt in 1974, which was her father, from a North Koreans.
