Patty Sheehan

Patty Sheehan ( born October 27, 1956 in Middlebury, Vermont) is an American professional golfer.

After leaving school, Sheehan graduated from the University of Nevada in Reno and at San Jose State University. Sheehan launched a sporting career as a golfer. In 1980 she was a participant of the LPGA Tour. She won 35 events in this Tour, including six majors. Sheehan was a member of the U.S. Women's Golf team in four tournaments of the Solheim Cup and the 2002 and 2003 Team Captain.

Sheehan lives openly lesbian. She has adopted jointly with her ​​partner Rebecca Gaston two children.
