Jörgen Per "Pelle " Nilsson ( born September 15, 1982 in Härnösand ) is a Swedish football player.

Career

Association

Nilsson began in 1988 with the football matches Stigsjö IK. From 1992 to 1998 he played in the youth of IFK Timrå before he went to GIF Sundsvall in 1999 and debuted there in the Allsvenskan. In July 2001 he joined the league rivals AIK Solna. In 2005 he went to the Norwegian Tippeligaen to Odd Grenland.

In summer 2007, he joined the German second division promoted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Despite several injuries he got in the first year, 22 missions, and helped the club to the walkover in the 1st Bundesliga. There he was first team regular again, but was set after the 4:5 defeat to Werder Bremen on Matchday 6 on the bench. In his next assignment from the start they lost Leverkusen 1:4, which earned him another break. Only in the last third of the season he returned to the starting lineup. Before the season 2009/10 Nilsson was elected by his teammates as captain. But he could not prevail against the new additions to the defenses and captured a regular place. Overall, he played in this year in the league only seven times, and three times in which he scored the game-winning 1-0 in the DFB Cup, in the 2nd round against 1 FC Nuremberg.

After two seasons in the Bundesliga Nilsson joined the 2010/2011 season for around 450,000 euros fee for 1.FC Nürnberg. There he formed until the 12th matchday Andreas Wolf 'central defense. Then he had to pause for a long time due to a knee injury suffered in training. In the second half but Philipp Wollenberg had taken over after convincing performances stem position next to wolf and so Nilsson was only five times off the bench after recovering from injury and replaced in two games Andreas Wolf. 12 March 2011 in a 2-1 away win against VfL Wolfsburg he scored his first Bundesliga goal.

National

Nilsson played in several youth teams in his home country, including 22 times in the Swedish U- 21st His debut in the Swedish national team gave Nilsson on 31 January 2001 a 0-0 draw against the selection of the Faroe Islands, then he was irregular in the squad of the national team. After 2007, his fifth international game for a long time denied his last audition, he returned in February 2013 by consistent performances at his club back into the focus of coach Erik Hamrén. First he sat twice only on the bench, the end of March, he completed after nearly six years at the 0-0 draw against Slovakia in his comeback blue yellow jersey.
