Peter Eriksson (ice hockey)

Peter Gösta Nicklas Eriksson ( born July 12, 1965 in Nässjö ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who played in his playing days from 1984 to 1998 among others for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.

Career

Peter Eriksson began his career as a hockey player with the HV71, for the first team he gave his debut in the 1984/85 season in the second-class Division 1. With his team, he immediately achieved promotion to the Elitserien. There, the winger was another three years before the HV71 before moving to the 1989/90 season with the Edmonton Oilers, who had chosen him already in the NHL Entry Draft in 1987 in the fourth Rudne than a total of 64 players. For Edmonton, he scored in the National Hockey League in 20 games three goals and three assists.
