Geography

Oberpfaffenhofen is located in the Danube -Iller region in central Bavaria. It is located 16 km southeast of Ulm and 45 km north of Memmingen.

History

Incorporations

On October 1, 1969, until then independent municipality Erbishofen was incorporated. These were the first reorganization measure in the former district of Neu -Ulm. On 1 January 1972 Balmertshofen, Mountain, Beaver Mountain Mayrhofen and Volkert were added. On May 1, 1978 followed Beuren, Kadeltshofen ( with Remmeltshofen ), low Hausen, Raunertshofen and Roth ( with Hirbishofen and Luippen ).
