The Stinkmorchelartigen ( Phallales ) are an order large fungi from the class Agaricomycetes.

Features

The fruiting bodies of Stinkmorchelartigen first develop a so-called Hexenei, in which there is a gelatinous layer between endo-and Exoperidie. By stretching a Receptaculums the Hexenei ruptures at the apex and the primary kammerige, moist permanent Gleba is exposed.

Ecology

The Phallales spread their spores by insects which they attract with Lockfarben and aasartigen odors. They are therefore also called Aasfliegenpilze.

System

In Central Europe, representatives of the dog rods and Stinkmorcheln occur. In addition, two types of mesh sheets were introduced. The order of Stinkmorchelartigen comprises six families and about 80 species, distributed mainly in the tropics worldwide. Hosaka and authors (2006) include the following families to Phallales:
