The airfield is located in Poltringen Ammer book on the district Poltringen. It is used by the air clubs Unterjesingen and Herrenberg. Both clubs together form the Flugsportverein Ammer book for more than 25 years.

Status and regulations

The square is a special landing site and may be used only by aircraft and glider pilots of flight sports clubs Herrenberg and Unterjesingen. Exceptions are approved by the Government of Tübingen. The traffic pattern for airplanes is west of the square at 2700 ft to fly.

History

Was first put into operation of the airfield in the 60s from Flugsportverein Herrenberg. 1972 Flugsportverein Unterjesingen came about. Meanwhile, among the two clubs together nearly 500 members.
