Pomán Department

The department Poman located in the western center of the province of Catamarca in northwestern Argentina and is one of the 16 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Andalgalá and Belén, on the east by the department of Ambato, on the southeast by the Departamento Capayán and to the west by the province of La Rioja.

The capital of the department is Saujil.
