Pottenstein, Austria

Pott stone is a market town with 2981 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Lower Austria in the district of Baden. Pott stone was also the seat of a district court with its own parish.

Geography

Pott stone is located in the industrial area and was dominated socially and economically independent for many years by the residents here textile factory. Still dominates the industrial monument in the western part of the municipality of the appearance of the village (see: places of interest).

The municipality comprises the cadastral Fahrafeld pot and stone.

Traffic

The main thoroughfare is Hainfelder road B18. In addition, a road leads through the neck into the neighboring Piestingtal.

In Pott stone there is a station of the Leobersdorfer web.

By Pott stone and Fahrafeld also the edge trail " Triestingtal Way", a cycle track and in winter even leads a trail near enough snow.
