Province of Córdoba (Spain)

The Province of Córdoba (Spanish Provincia de Córdoba) is one of the eight provinces of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. The province has an area of ​​13,769 km ² and 802 422 inhabitants (2013 ), of which 40 percent live in the capital. Capital is Cordoba. The province comprises 75 municipalities, which are divided into 8 Comarcas since 2003.

Geography

The Cordoba is located in the north of Andalusia in the valley of the Guadalquivir. It is bordered by the provinces of Málaga, Seville, Badajoz, Ciudad Real, Jaen and Granada.
