Przemysław Tytoń [ pʂɛmɨswaf tɨtɔɲ ] ( born January 4, 1987 in Zamość, Poland) is a Polish football player on the goalkeeper position.

Career

Clubs

Tytoń started to play football at Hetman Zamość. His professional career started at Górnik Łęczna in the Polish Ekstraklasa. In two seasons with Gornik he brought it to 20 missions in the Ekstraklasa. In 2007 he was obliged by the Dutch first division club Roda JC Kerkrade. In the first three and a half years, he was only substitute goalkeeper behind the Belgian Bram Castro. It was not until the second half of the season 2009/2010 he was able to oust Castro and has since goalkeeper. In March 2011 he suffered in training camp with the national team a shoulder injury, because of the it turned out the remainder of the 2010/11 season and was replaced by his young compatriot Mateusz Prus and in two games by Collin van Eijk.

In August 2011 Tytoń changed after the first two match days on which he stood still for Roda JC on the court, on loan to PSV Eindhoven. First, he was behind Andreas Isaksson only substitute before the competitor conceded ten goals in two consecutive games and therefore from the beginning of March coach Fred Rutten put it on. In the final ten league matches and in the cup final he stood in the gate. The now coached by Phillip Cocu team with a 3-0 win over Heracles Almelo won the title there.

In the summer of 2012, he was firmly committed from PSV Eindhoven.

National

29 May 2010 Tytoń debut in a friendly against Finland ( 0-0) in the Polish national team. As the Polish coach Franciszek Smuda had long time not set to a " number 1" in goal, fought against Tytoń goalkeeper Artur Boruc as, Tomasz Kuszczak, Łukasz Fabiański or Sebastian Przyrowski to the position of the root goalkeeper. In May 2012, the national coach him nominated alongside the England legionnaires Fabiański and Wojciech Szczęsny for the European Championship in 2012. With the sending off after an emergency brake of Szczęsny after 69 minutes of play in the European Championship opening match he came to his European debut and held the by Giorgos Karagounis shot in the 71st minute match penalty.
