Pucnik

Sims village, Polish Pucnik, is a place for Dometzko associated hamlet in Poland in the community Comprachtschütz. The place is situated in Upper Silesia in the Opole County, Opole Voivodeship.

Geography

Sims village located four kilometers southeast of the municipal center Comprachtschütz and nine kilometers southwest of the county town of Opole and voivodship.

History

By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Pucnik and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Opolski. On 4 June 2009 the village was in the Sims community Comprachtschütz, belongs, introduced German as a second official language on 1 December 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Sims village.
