Radíkovice

Radíkovice ( German Radikowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers west of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Radíkovice located in the valley of the Radostovský creek, a left tributary of the Bystřice, on the East Bohemian panel. To the northeast lies the forest area of ​​the Přímský les.

Neighboring towns are Jehlice and Nový Přím in the north, Horni Přím and Stěžírky in the northeast, Těchlovice in the east, in the southeast Hvozdnice, Libčany in the south, Želí the southwest, Radostov in the west and Hradek in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Radíkovice took place in 1365, when it received the brothers Svatomír and Hynek of Hořic as part of a property division. Since 1415 a fortress can be detected.

After the abolition of patrimonial Radíkovice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Hradec Králové. In 1949 she was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové - okolí. Since 1961 Radíkovice heard again Okres Hradec Králové. Between 1985 and 1991 Radíkovice was incorporated to Libčany. At the beginning of 1992, the municipality is again.
