Red Hot Blue

Red Hot Blue is a compilation album from 1990, which was designed as a tribute to Cole Porter, and grossed on the well-known pop musicians of the 1990s, contemporary cover versions of edited tracks of the famous Broadway and film composer. The title of the album is Cole Porter's Red, Hot and Blue! borrowed.

The album is the first of a series of benefit albums, which were released by the Red Hot Organization to support AIDS relief projects in different countries. Red Hot Blue sold over a million copies worldwide and is considered the first major AIDS benefit project of the music industry.

In 2006 Red Hot Blue in the United States was re-released as a 2- disc set, which includes an audio CD of reworked original recordings as well as a DVD-Video with the video clips.
