Řepiště

Řepiště ( German Repischt ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers south of the center of Ostrava and belongs to Okres Frýdek- Místek.

Geography

Řepiště is located on the right bank of the Ostravice in the northern foothills of Beskidenvorlandes in the headwaters of the Datyňka. To the east rises the Horni Datyňka. North of the village is the stockpile of the former coal mine Paskov. Řepiště is located on the railway line from Ostrava to Kojetin, the train station is named Paskov.

Neighboring towns are Hrabova and Vratimov in the north, Zadky, Rakovec Horni Datyně and Václavovice in the northeast, Kaňovice, Kouty and Mlzáky in the east, Sedliště the southeast, Liskovec and Žabeň in the south, Mala Ves in the southwest, Paskov in the west and Mitrovice and Nova Bela in the northwest.

History

The village was created around 1270 by Lusatian Sorbs in the course of colonization of Teschen country on a plateau overlooking the valley of Ostravice. The first written mention was made in 1305 as Barutov. To 1485, the wooden church was built. Řepiště was a border village of the Silesian Duchy of Teschen to Margraviate of Moravia. 1550 was the owner of the village, Sigmund Rudský of Rudice of Duke Wenceslas Adam Brau justice. By Peter the younger Sedlnitzky the village Rakowetz was founded in 1596. At the beginning of the 17th century, acquired in January Skrbenský of Hriste Řepiště and joined it to the manorial Šenov. At the same time the village was umgepfarrt after Šenov.

1787 Joseph bought Mitrovský Chutrovský the court in Řepiště. He was in the same year the village Vinohradská create. 1829 education was received in a Chaluppe. The school moved in 1836 to a private wooden building. After the abolition of patrimonial originated from 1850, the municipality in the district of Teschen Rzepischt with the districts Rakowetz and Winohrad. 1860 was the division of Rakowetz, a part of its corridors came to Rattimau. Between 1874 and 1875 a brick school building was erected.

1908, the municipality was filed in the District Friedeck. 1909 a school was set up in Rakovec. Since 1961, the community is part of the Řepiště Okres Frýdek- Místek. From 1980 to 1990 Řepiště was incorporated as Vratimov 2- Řepiště after Vratimov.
