Simon Templar - A gentleman with a Halo (Original Title: Return of the Saint ) is a British crime series that originated in Great Britain in 1978 after the crime novels of the writer Leslie Charteris and also based on the novels by Charteris hit series The Saint with Roger Moore. The main role of Simon Templar was played by Ian Ogilvy.
Action
Simon Templar is a gentleman and adventurer who does not shrink from danger. From his initials "ST", which can also be read as The Saint (Saint ), his trademark is developed: a stick figure with a halo. He drives a white Jaguar XJS with the license plate ST 1 Similarly, as in the series of the 1960s Templar used at the beginning of an episode directly to the audience.

Simon Templar - A gentleman with nimbus is often seen as a continuation of the hit series The Saint from the 1960s. In addition to the similar bias, as well as the similar structure of an episode, an actor from the original series appeared here. Also, the producer of the original series, Robert S. Baker, this produced together with the main characters of the original series Roger Moore. Two episodes were directed by Roy Ward Baker, who had also previously directed 18 episodes of Simon Templar.
