Ri Bun-hui

Li Bun -hui ( born December 29, 1968) is a North Korean table tennis player who won the bronze in women's singles and silver in doubles at the 1992 Olympics. In addition, she has twice been runner-up world champion.

International success

From 1983 to 1993 Li Bun -hui was nominated six times for the World Championships. They reached the final in 1989 and 1991, which they lost against the Chinese and Hong Qiao Deng Yaping, respectively. She took bronze with Cho Jong- hui in 1987 in a double and Kim Song -hui 1991 Mixed. With the North Korean team was 1985 and 1993 runner-up. In 1991, a total Korean team took, she served on the world champion team.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, she won the bronze medal behind Deng Yaping and Qiao Hong from China in the singles. Against Qiao Hong she had lost in the semifinals. In doubles with Yu Sun -bok brought them also bronze.
