Rim Jong-sim
Rim Jong- sim ( born February 5, 1993, Pyongyang, North Korea) is a North Korean weightlifter. It was 2012 Olympic champion in the weight category to 69 kg body weight.
Career
Rim Jong -sim began as a teenager in Pyongyang with the weight lifting. The 1.63 meter tall athlete completed its first international launch at the World Youth Championship (U 17) in Chiang Mai / Thailand. She started doing in the weight category to 58 kg, and came with a duel capacity of 212 kg ( 92-120 ) behind the Chinese Deng Wei, who in a duel 222 kg ( 98-124 ) achieved, the 2nd place.
In September 2010, she was employed in the Women's World Cup in Antalya in the weight class up to 63 kg. She came there with 231 kg ( 104-127 ) on the 5th Place. In November 2010, she won at the Asian Games in Guangzhou / China in the weight category to 69 kg and 232 kg ( 103-129 ) the 4th Place.
At the Junior World Championship ( U 20 ) 2011 in Penang Rim Jong -sim won in the weight category up to 63 kg a medal again. She scored there in a duel 225 kg ( 97-128 ) and thus came behind Tima Turijewa, Russia, 229 kg ( 102-127 ) and Karina Goritschewa, Kazakhstan, 227 kg ( 100-127 ) on the 3rd place, the one you bronze medal earned.
2012 Rim Jong -sim has been used at the Olympic Games in London in the weight category to 69 kg. She surprised there in a duel with a huge increase to 261 kg ( 115-146 ), the her the gold medal against Roxana Cocos, Romania, to 256 kg ( 113-143 ) came and Marina Schkermankowa, Belarus, also 256 kg (113 -143 ) achieved, earned.
2013 Rim Jong -sim was at the Asian Cup in Astana at the start. They achieved this in the weight category to 69 kg in 255 kg ( 112-143 ), but was defeated her compatriot Ryo Un -hui, the 263 kg ( 118-145 ) came and at the World Championships this year in Wroclaw preference to Rim Jong -sim received.
