Roberto Soriano (2011)
Roberto Soriano ( born February 8, 1991 in Darmstadt ) is a German - Italian football player who currently is under contract with the Italian first division club Sampdoria.

Clubs
Soriano grew up in Darmstadt and played like his older brother Elijah, who plays with the Stuttgarter Kickers, for the youth teams of SV Darmstadt 98 in a game of Hesse - selection he fell to the Scouts of FC Bayern Munich to him in the summer of 2005 offered a place in the Youth Academy, the Soriano accepted. Since Soriano saw more no perspective at Bayern, he ended his run until summer 2010 contract early and moved in January 2009 to the Italian club Sampdoria, where he first came into use in the youth team Primavera. He and his team reached the semifinals of the Campionato Nazionale Primavera.
In summer 2010, he signed a professional contract in Genoa and was subsequently awarded for one season to the second division FC Empoli. On August 22, 2010, being the first matchday of the 2010/11 season, Soriano came in a 3-2 victory over Frosinone Calcio in Serie B for the first time used. In total he completed in his first professional year 27 league games in which he was able to achieve two goals. The first goal he scored on December 11, 2010 compared Calcio Portogruaro Summaga. These two bets against AC Reggiana and Fiorentina came in the Coppa Italia.
For the 2011/12 season Soriano returned to Genoa and played for relegated in the previous season in Serie B, Sampdoria for the first time on 5 October 2011 ( 8th Round ) against Hellas Verona. In 13 regular season games he scored one goal. He finished sixth, which entitled to participate in the promotion relegation with Sampdoria. In the relegation Soriano came to three operations and two victories ( 3-2, 1-0) in the finals against AS Varese 1910 and failed to re- promotion to Serie A. In the 2012/13 season he was in the squad of Sampdoria Genoa. His first game of 24 in Serie A he gave on August 26, 2012 ( 1st Round ) 1-0 victory over AC Milan.
National
Soriano played for various junior national teams of Italy. In the U-17 national team, he was a total of six times used for the first time on November 29, 2007. Among them were three games in the elite round of qualifying for the U- 17 European Championship in 2008.
On 11 March 2009 he made his debut in the match against Norway in the U-19 national team. The end of April / beginning of May 2009, he was nominated for five games in the U-18 national team. For the first time on April 27, 2009 against Denmark.
Already on September 4, 2009, he had his first appearance in the U-21 national team. Having already denied some games for the U- 21 team, he was first nominated in 2010 for the qualification and then also for the finals of the U-19 European Championship 2010 in France, where it was used in all games. From September 2010 he again played for the U-21 national team.
In March 2014 Soriano was called by coach Cesare Prandelli along with 30 other players for a three day evaluation course for the senior team.
