Roberto Soriano (2011)

Roberto Soriano ( born February 8, 1991 in Darmstadt ) is a German - Italian football player who currently is under contract with the Italian first division club Sampdoria.

Career

Clubs

Soriano grew up in Darmstadt and played like his older brother Elijah, who plays with the Stuttgarter Kickers, for the youth teams of SV Darmstadt 98 in a game of Hesse - selection he fell to the Scouts of FC Bayern Munich to him in the summer of 2005 offered a place in the Youth Academy, the Soriano accepted. In summer 2010, he signed a professional contract in Genoa and was subsequently awarded for one season to the second division FC Empoli. On August 22, 2010, being the first matchday of the 2010/11 season, Soriano came in a 3-2 victory over Frosinone Calcio in Serie B for the first time used. In the 2012/13 season he was in the squad of Sampdoria Genoa. His first game of 24 in Serie A he gave on August 26, 2012 ( 1st Round ) 1-0 victory over AC Milan.

National

Soriano played for various junior national teams of Italy. In the U-17 national team, he was a total of six times used for the first time on November 29, 2007. Among them were three games in the elite round of qualifying for the U- 17 European Championship in 2008.

On 11 March 2009 he made his debut in the match against Norway in the U-19 national team. The end of April / beginning of May 2009, he was nominated for five games in the U-18 national team. For the first time on April 27, 2009 against Denmark.

Already on September 4, 2009, he had his first appearance in the U-21 national team.
