Daniele Gastaldello

Daniele Gastaldello ( born June 25, 1983 in Camposampiero, Italy ) is an Italian footballer who acts in the position of defense and currently stands at Sampdoria under contract.

Career

Association

Gastaldello began his career in the youth department of Calcio Padova, from which he ascended to the senior squad in 2000. In this, he completed 21 games until his retirement in 2002, when he moved to Juventus. This commitment, however, was very disappointing and so he left Juve after only one year without use again and joined the AC Chievo Verona. But even here he did not get to train and was also awarded after one year without use League to FC Crotone. Here he came in all league games and play- off matches are used. Overall, he played 49 games and scored four goals.

Due to its good performance of AC Siena took him under contract. There, he played from 2005 to 2007. Afterwards he moved to Sampdoria, where he is still active today.

National

Gastaldello played in the U-17, U-19 and U-20 teams in his country. Thereafter, however, he was not considered further.

Nevertheless, he was appointed in 2010 by Cesare Prandelli in the squad of the Italians, but did not immediately used. His debut then celebrated on 29 March 2011 at the European Championship qualifier against Ukraine.
