Roger Vidosa

Roger Vidosa Riba (born 29 February 1984 in La Massana ) is an alpine skier from Andorra. Its strengths lie in the technical disciplines giant slalom and slalom, but he also runs downhill and super -G.

Biography

Vidosa denies mainly FIS races and is active in the European Cup since 2004. To date, he has won seven FIS races, drove in the higher-class European Cup but only twice into the top 30 ( 28th place in the slalom in Garmisch -Partenkirchen February 28, 2008 and 27th place in the slalom of Formigal on March 16, 2011). In the World Cup starts Vidosa rarely, the first time in 2007 in the downhill in Val d'Isere. The end of 2008 he succeeded also in Val d'Isere, in the super-combined at the World Cup slope in Bellevarde rank 22 and thus far only his placement in the World Cup points ranking. It is thus by Alex Antor only the second Andorran, who won the World Cup points.

Roger Vidosa participated in three World Cups ( Bormio 2005 Åre 2007 and 2011 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen ) participated and represented Andorra at the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006 and Vancouver 2010.
