Rolando Fonseca

Rolando Fonseca Jiménez or just Rolando Fonseca ( born June 6, 1974 in San José ) is a Costa Rican football player. Since the summer of 2008, the striker is in the Guatemalan first division CSD Comunicaciones under contract.

Career

Association

Fonseca played so far in different leagues and teams in Central and South America. He began his career in 1989 with Deportivo Saprissa of the attacker, in addition to LD Alajuelense one of the most successful clubs in the Primera División de Costa Rica, the top division in Costa Rica. After the expiration of his first professional year, he won the national championship with the club. For an insert he came not then however. Fonseca since 1992 National Player of Costa Rica. With now 47 hits he is the top scorer in the history of the national team.
