Romain Édouard

Romain Edouard ( born November 28, 1990 in Poitiers ) is a French chess master.

Édouard conquered or occupied top positions in several tournaments: 1st place in the U16 Jugenduropameisterschaft in Herceg Novi (2006 ), 2nd place in the U18 World Youth Championship in Kemer (2007 ), 2nd place in the U18 European Youth Championships in Šibenik ( 2007), and 1st place in the Rapid Tournament Circuit Espoirts in Lyon ( 2008).

Since 2009, it bears the grandmaster title. In 2009 he won the Chess Festival Bad Wörishofen before Epishin Vladimir and Sebastian Bogner. In the season 2010/11 the German Chess Bundesliga he played for the chess society Solingen, his first season in the German Bundesliga chess was the season 2008/09. In the Swiss National League A, he plays for the Club d' Echecs de Genève.
