Roman Bezjak
Roman Bezjak ( born February 21, 1989 in Slovenj Gradec ) is a Slovenian football player who is under contract with the Bulgarian club Ludogorez Razgrad since August 2012.
Career
Association
Roman Bezjak played in his youth at clubs such as NK Korotan Prevalje, NK and NK Celje Dravograd. For the season 2007/ 08 he made the leap into the professional squad and completed on 9 April 2008 in the match against NK Maribor, where he came on as a substitute in the last six minutes to use, as Celje almost uncatchable with 2:4 lay back. In the following season he made his August 2, 2008 for new face in the 0-0 draw against NK Domžale until he was in the second half, replaced by Saša Bakaric. His first Ligaspieltor he scored two weeks later in a 2-2 draw against NK Primorje. However, this was his only goal in the 2007/ 08 season. His most successful period in Celje had Bezjak in the 2011/12 season, where he scored about one third of the goals of his team with 16 goals this season and thus had a large share of the league. Nevertheless, Celje could qualify for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2012/13, since one in 2011/12 reached the final of the Cup Slovenije, where they lost on penalties 2:3 ultimately with the NK Maribor. However, it failed in the first qualifying round on the Moldovan side FC Dacia Chişinău twice with 0:1.
After Bezjak scored four goals in six games for Celje at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, he signed on August 22, 2012 the Bulgarian first division Ludogorez Razgrad a four -year contract. His debut for Razgrad, he completed a month later in a 1-0 victory over CSKA Sofia, where he came off the bench for the first time. In his first season he scored a goal against FK Etar Veliko Tarnovo, and in each case a brace against FC Chernomorets Burgas and Sofia Slawia. In addition, he won with his team the A Grupa 2012/13 and thus qualified for the UEFA Champions League 2013/14-Qualifikation. After teams like ŠK Slovan Bratislava and FK Partizan Belgrade were off, Razgrad failed in the playoffs at FC Basel. After Bezjak already played for various youth national teams of Slovenia, he completed on 14 August 2013 in the 0-2 defeat against Finland his senior international debut when he came on in the 46th minute for Valter Birsa. So far Bezjak denied three caps for the senior national team of Slovenia.
