Roman Catholic Diocese of Susa

The Diocese of Susa (Latin: Dioecesis Segusiensis, Italian: Diocese of Susa ) is a located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Susa.

History

The Diocese of Susa was established on August 3, 1772 by Pope Clement XIV with the Apostolic Constitution Quod nobis out of territory of the Archdiocese of Turin, and this is a suffragan. 1803, the Diocese of Susa was dissolved and the territory was annexed to the Archdiocese of Turin. On July 17, 1817, the Diocese of Susa was built again by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution Beati Petri.
