Roman Catholic Diocese of Pinerolo

The diocese of Pinerolo (Latin: Dioecesis Pineroliensis, Italian: Diocese of Pinerolo ) is a located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Pinerolo.

History

The diocese of Pinerolo was established on December 23, 1748 by Pope Benedict XIV with the Apostolic Constitution In Sacrosancta. 1805, the diocese of Pinerolo was dissolved and the territory was annexed to the diocese of Saluzzo. On July 17, 1817, the diocese of Pinerolo was built again by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution Beati Petri.

The diocese of Pinerolo is the Archdiocese of Turin is a suffragan.
