Roman Catholic Diocese of Fossano

The diocese Fossano (Latin: Dioecesis Fossanensis, Italian: Diocese of Fossano ) is a location in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Fossano.

History

The diocese was erected Fossano on April 15, 1592 by Pope Clement VIII with the Apostolic Constitution Hodie ex CERTIS out of territory of the Archdiocese of Turin, and this is a suffragan. 1801 the diocese Fossano was dissolved and the territory was annexed to the archbishopric of Turin. On July 17, 1817, the diocese Fossano was built again by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution Beati Petri.
