Roman Derlyuk

Roman Olegovich Derljuk (* 27 October 1986 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Dynamo Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League since June 2012.

Career

Roman Olegovich Derljuk began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Spartak St. Petersburg, for the first team he made his debut in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league was in season 2004/ 05. He was then selected in the sixth round in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 as a total 164 players from the Florida Panthers, for whom he never played, however. Instead, he moved to Spartak's city neighbors SKA St. Petersburg, for which he was active in the Super League in the following year and a half.

During the season 2006/ 07 Derljuk moved within the Super League to HK MVD Tver. This was relocated to Balaschicha end of the season and the Left shooter remained on the team that participated from the season 2008/ 09 on the game mode of the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League. With his team, he failed in the 2009/10 season until the playoff final for the Gagarin Cup at Ak Bars Kazan. Then the HK MVD was merged with the HK Dynamo Moscow and the Russian received for the 2010/11 season a contract with their successor team OHK Dynamo.

For the 2011/12 season Derljuk moved to the Florida Panthers of the NHL, for their farm team San Antonio Rampage he played in the American Hockey League. A year later he returned to HK Dynamo Moscow and won with this 2013 Gagarin Cup, the championship trophy of the KHL.
