Roman Schramseis

Roman Schramseis (* March 29, 1906; † 10 December 1988) was an Austrian football player. The defender was a member of the legendary miracle team and winner of the 1930 Mitropapokals with Rapid Vienna.

Career

Roman Schramseis began his career as a football player in the Favorites ASV Hertha Vienna in 1922. Using the blue-white in 1924, he experienced the tight descent and 1925 the chances of promotion to the first division with. In the same year the defender moved to the then record champions Rapid Vienna to Hütteldorf. The Green-Whites he was now playing regularly at the Austrian Championship title. 1927 was the third place to book, but in the Cup Austria Wien could be defeated in the finals 3-0. Family

Schramseis jun. began his career with the Wiener Sport - Club and played after the war (1946 /47) in Villach. In 1947 he moved to the second Italian League to Udinese Udine where he scored five goals in the first year in 16 missions. In the second season 1948/49 he played 30 times for Udine, scoring four goals. The Game 1949 /50 and 1950/51 he spent at Treviso in the third division. In the summer of 1951 Schramseis returned jun. back to Austria and played for Austria Wien. But with the violets he came only three bets in the fall in the games against Wacker ( 3:3 ), Vienna FC (0-0 ) and Admira (3:4). In 1957 he moved to FC Wacker Innsbruck in the Tyrolean League and celebrated with the club promotion to the Arlberg League (1958) and the qualification for the second-rate Regionalliga West ( 1960). 1962 missed novel Schramseis jun. with the Innsbruckern on goal difference compared to the SAK 1914 promotion to the State League A.
