Romanian Football Federation

The Federatia Română de Fotbal (FRF) is the Romanian Football Federation.

The Football Association of Romania was founded in 1909, but it took until 1923 to FIFA in 1954 and was a founding member of UEFA. The Romanian national football team has already participated in the first three World Cups (1930, 1934 and 1938 ).

The association takes care of the organization of the lower Romanian football leagues, including the League II and League III. Furthermore, the association organized the Women's National Team, all youth teams ( U17, U19, U21 ) and the Romanian national football team.

On March 5, 2014, the 29 -year-old Razvan Burleanu replaced the previous president Mircea Sandu from the association's top.
