Ron Lapointe Trophy

The Trophée Ron Lapointe (English Ron Lapointe Trophy ) is an ice hockey trophy in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. It has been awarded annually since 1993 to the best head coach in the league. The trophy is named after Ron Lapointe, who worked among others as head coach of the QMJHL Montreal Juniors team, Quebec Remparts and Shawinigan Cataractes. In March 1992, he died at the age of 42 from kidney cancer.

Remarks: Colour- backed coaches have won in the same year the Brian Kilrea Coach of the Year Award.
